Shuklaganj is a suburb of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, situated on the banks of holy river Ganges about 3 km from Kanpur and 15 km to Unnao.The population was 300,000 as of the 2011 census.It has 95% of literacy and is 3 km from Kanpur Cantonment. Shuklaganj was once known as Gangaghat.Though it lies in Unnao district, it lies nearer to Kanpur and hence is a suburb of Kanpur.

Shuklaganj was established in 1935 Shuklaganj. In 1935, DC A.N Shukla established Shuklaganj. In 1976 Bal Govind Mantesri school made for infants. Each of the Foundation Day on February 8 cricket tournament held at the stadium is made ramkali goddess. He said that 8 of the 78 th Foundation Day on February Shuklaganj final tournament will be played. In addition to the tournament trophy to the winning team will be prizes.
